Letter from the Executive Director, Lennie Duensing
As you may already know, the Academy is in a time of transition. As Executive Director, I am working closely with the Board and staff to take the measures needed to ensure that our organization remains financially sound, that our programs are of the finest quality and in line with our mission, and that our operations are streamlined. We have become energized through this challenging process, and we are entering 2007 with renewed vision and greater clarity.
We also want to let you know how important you are to the Academy. The strength of our organization depends on members like you. This cannot be emphasized enough. We would like to thank you for your support and your dedication to working with other interdisciplinary pain practitioners—all for the purpose of improving the lives of those who live with pain.
