Executive Director

The Integrated Healthcare Policy Consortium (IHPC) is seeking a dynamic Executive Director to help guide the organization to new heights. The Executive Director will work from a home/personal office to oversee all legislative efforts, fundraising, and board activities. The position will assist the Board of Directors (BOD) in driving the overall strategy for the organization and represent IHPC on a national level. The Executive Director will focus on the following four areas: legislative coordination, fundraising, committee coordination, and BOD management.

Medical Director for the CoxHealth Pain Management Clinic

We are seeking a medical director for the CoxHealth Pain Management Clinic. Clinical leadership is responsible for the development of a health care delivery facility staffed by physicians of different specialties and other non-physician health care providers who specialize in the diagnosis and management of patients with pain. This multidisciplinary pain clinic will include diagnostic and treatment facilities including outpatient and inpatient services. Responsibilities include: • Facilitates strategic planning that supports the vision, mission, values and strategic priorities of CoxHealth. • Responsible for providing clinical leadership working with physicians from the specialties of physical medicine and rehabilitation, anesthesiology and psychiatry and/or clinical psychology. • Responsible for the development of clinical protocols and pathways of care to standardize best practices across CoxHealth. • Responsible for the development and management of both diagnostic and therapeutic services. • Responsible for the development, implementation and management of a pain rehabilitation center (PRC) based upon a cognitive-behavioral treatment model. • Responsible for the development and management of a CoxHealth program to address acute, sub-acute, and chronic pain in our patients, across all care settings.

The primary goal of the PRC is to restore function and quality of life for people suffering from chronic pain. The PRC will emphasize the discontinuation of pain medications, including simple and opiod analgesics to treat chronic pain.

Required Qualifications: 1. Medical Degree or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine. 2. Specialized training in the evaluation, diagnosis, and treatment of acute, sub-acute and chronic pain. 3. Training and experience in the evaluation, diagnosis and treatment of nociceptive pain, neuropathic pain and neurogenic pain. 4. Board certified in the specialty of Family Practice, Internal Medicine, Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation or Anesthesiology. 5. Oral and written communications skills. 6. Ability to organize and supervise multiple projects. Preferred Qualifications: 1. Board certification in pain management or equivalent experience of five years. Pain Management Partners specializes in non-interventional medical treatment of intractable pain, emphasizing multidisciplinary comprehensive care that includes physical therapy and behavioral aspects.
