Robert Alan Bonakdar, MD, is Director of Pain Management at the Scripps Center for Integrative Medicine in La Jolla, California and a member of the Scripps Green Hospital Pain Management Committee. He also serves as Assistant Clinical Professor (Voluntary) at the University of California, San Diego School of Medicine. Dr. Bonakdar completed a fellowship in integrative medicine at Scripps Clinic, focusing on integrative pain management. He also completed the UCLA Acupuncture Course for Physicians and a Richter Fellowship in Southeast Asia, where he studied acupuncture, tai chi, and mind-body practices. His current clinical and research interests include novel approaches to pain management including dietary supplementation and biostimulation using microcurrent, laser, auricular, and acupuncture therapies. |

He is a Commissioner of the Oregon Pain Management Commission, and a member of the Oregon and American Physical Therapy Associations. Jackie Rowles, CRNA, MBA, MA, practices at Meridian Health Group, an integrative pain specialty group in Carmel, Indiana. A nationally recognized nurse anesthesia speaker, Ms. Rowles developed and directed an interventional pain management cadaver course for the Institute of Post Graduate Education and has been instrumental in the development of the American Association of Nurse Anesthetists (AANA) Advanced Pain Management Training. She currently serves on the Board of Directors of the American Academy of Pain Management and is the past President of the AANA. |

Christian D. Gonz�lez, MD, is the Clinical Director of Pain Medicine at the Miami Neurological Institute in Aventura, Florida. Previously, he was Director of Pain Medicine at the University of Massachusetts School of Medicine in Worcester. He completed an anesthesiology residency at Baylor College of Medicine and then a pain medicine fellowship at Harvard Medical School-Massachusetts General Hospital. His research focuses on interventional spine techniques. Dr. Gonz�lez also chairs the Academic Taskforce for the American Society of Interventional Pain Physicians. He has led multiple interventional workshops in the United States and Latin America. |

Kathryn Hahn, PharmD, DAAPM, CPE practices community pharmacy with an emphasis on pain management in Springfield, Oregon. She is Affiliate Faculty at Oregon State University College of Pharmacy, where she teaches a six week clerkship in pain management to 4th year PharmD students. Dr. Hahn is Chair of the Oregon Pain Management Commission, serves on the board of the Western Pain Society and is Past President of the Pain Society of Oregon. She has published numerous articles, serves on the Website Advisory Board of Medscape and is a State Pain Action Leader for the American Pain Foundation. She speaks both locally and nationally about pain management, its politics, and policy. Dr. Hahn was a 2004 recipient of the American Pharmacists Association One to One Counseling Award, and the 2007 Pain Society of Oregon Pioneer in Pain Award. She received her pharmacy degree from the University of Southern California, is credentialed as a pain practitioner with the American Academy of Pain Management, and is a Certified Pain Educator. |

Dr. Tick is a Clinical Assistant Professor and Director of the Integrative Pain Clinic in the Department of Family and Community Medicine (FCM) at the University of Arizona (Tucson).
